Red Hat Open Shift Development I: Introduction to Containers with Podman (DO188)
Overview
Red Hat Training & Certification is pleased to announce the release of Red Hat OpenShift Development I: Introduction to Containers with Podman (DO188). This course introduces students to building, running, and managing containers with Podman and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Students will build core skills for developing containerized applications through hands-on experience.
For students following the OpenShift Application Developer path, the new DO188 course and Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers (EX188) certification is the new prerequisite to Red Hat OpenShift Development II: Building Kubernetes Applications (DO288). This path no longer requires a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification and replaces DO180 in the Developer path. The OpenShift Administration path remains unchanged.
This course introduces the skills to build, run, and manage containers with Podman and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. This course provides a developer introduction to help students build core skills for developing containerized applications. DO188 is a prerequisite in the new OpenShift skills path for developers.
