Resume Updation

Bring a fresh look to your resume which will attract the interviewer. Keep your resume updated. Resume must contain references of your last employers, qualification, strength, achievements, etc. In short, with the first look itself the resume should generate a positive effect on you.

Practice Your Answers

Practice your answers… there are some commonly asked questions in all interviews like, tell about yourself…, what do you know about the company?, why should we hire you? , What’s your professional achievement?, etc. Prepare positive answers.

 Success in a job interview always begins with solid foundation of knowledge. Collect all the information about the organization. Information source includes the company website, your friends working in that company, etc

 Be aware of your strengths as well as weakness. The strengths which support the nature of job you have applied for like positive attitude, problem solving, handling work pressure, etc. That will impress the interviewer. Interviewers opt to ask, what is your weakness?, its a good question to evaluate your psychological approach. Transform a negative to positive is the key. For example: I work too hard sometimes, I am self critic, etc.

Be On Time

Be on time. To show you are responsible and committed you have to arrive 10 or 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. This will help you to relax.

Focus: Pay Attention

Mindfulness, focus on to what the interviewer is talking to you. Normally what happens is ( due to nervousness), you will find yourself rushing ahead or reviewing the last reply. This way you lack your attention.

Be Nice

Be nice to everyone you talk to. Remember to give respect to everyone from parking attendant to the top level management. Say Good morning, good afternoon, hi, hello, etc to start a conversation. Make eye contact with whom you are talking to.
