ipsr Unveils RHCE Training on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (RHEL7)

Congratulations to Red Hat Inc. for RHEL7. Good Job guys! That is one hell of an Operating System!

Ever since the beginning of this year, we as a Red Hat Certified Training Partner, had been answering a several lot of questions related to RHEL7 release dates, the changes, what would be next with certification tracks and likewise. Believe it or not, there were plenty of them.

But then, things are now getting clear. An evident and better picture is now on, especially with the release of RHEL7(July 2014), and the new architecture for cloud certifications. That been said, there are lot of things happening in Red Hat GLS, one can admit easily with no doubt.

Of course in 2014, we have seen the call back of super hit programs like RHCSS, the soon-to-go RHCDS, the new born Cloud certifications, change in policies for being a Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), RHCA in Cloud, the RHEL7 launch, and what else. I am sure there is a lot more in store. Well, wouldn’t you agree if we say, this is that HAPPENING year in Red Hat – the GLS to be specific, and apparently with all Red Hat training partners. Hell Yes!

We are geared up already to go for the home run. We always are a 1 step ahead, aren’t we? Yes, we are, because today we have some news to share.

September 27, 2014 – ipsr solutions unveils RHCE Training on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (RHEL7 OS). This is good not only for us, but also to that huge lot who are so much eager to know what is inside this new masterpiece OS from the world’s leading provider of open source solutions. Well, in short terms, RHEL 7 is a totally redefined Enterprise Operating system , designed to meet both modern data center and new generation IT requirements.

The last month witnessed our bunch of 27 trainers undergo internal training in RHEL7 and the familiarization with the new Enterprise Linux. The training was led by our Senior Instructor and Team Leader – Linux, Mr. Sanju Raj who himself is a Red Hat Certified Architect Level 4. A maestro of a trainer Sanju is! Absolutely.

That rockets us up to a stage, where we are fully set and ready to take days ahead initiating with our first RHEL 7 training being delivered from today. Participant happens to be one of our prestigious relationships, Mr. Melvin Obiri from Kenya.

Mr. Melvin is on his second visit to IPSR, the first one last year around the months of June-July. This year, he completed training in RH413 – Red Hat Server Hardening, CL210 – Red Hat OpenStack Administration, RH236 – Red Hat Storage Administration and passed EX210 and EX236 to get certified in respective modules. In between, Mr. Melvin completed all requirements of Red Hat Certified Datacenter Specialist and Red Hat Certified Architect certifications by passing EX436 and EX442 examinations. Of course with the additional certificates, this takes him to be a Red Hat Certified Architect Level 3. We could see Mr. Melvin jumping up and down with joy, shaking hands with everyone he sees around, the reasons are pretty much obvious. He had been longing to achieve these two coveted certifications for a long time. We are happy that we could be a cause to this fantastic moment. Congratulations Melvin!

The story does not end there. Melvin is exploring RHEL7 with Sanju now and will finish the track, before he returns to his country on October 10 2014. He has got a lot to carry this time; also giving us a promise there would be a third visit. Way to go!
