Red Hat Performance Tuning: Linux in Physical, Virtual and Cloud for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8

Performance engineers must constantly meet functional and business requirements in IT systems: to increase workload volume, reduce system bottlenecks and failures, with a final goal of increased business revenue and customer satisfaction. This course provides the skills needed to customize a solution for performance efficiency issues and allow for future scalability. 

Red Hat Training and Certification is pleased to announce a major update of the Red Hat Performance Tuning: Linux in Physical, Virtual and Cloud (RH442) course and the Red Hat Performance Tuning (EX442) exam for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.  This course has been completely rebuilt using new narratives, new graphics, and newly designed hands-on exercises. Students completing this course will develop skills needed to locate and mitigate bottlenecks, develop root cause analysis techniques, and master a variety of advanced, modern utilities engineered for a modern IT organization of any size.

This RH442 course is the first Red Hat Certified Architect level course released for RHEL 8, designed and constructed through direct collaboration with the Red Hat Kernel Performance engineering team.  Red Hat Training Team had worked hand in hand with Red Hat Performance Engineers, who proved test hardware, design feedback, command advice, and use cases to ensure that this course meets the expectations of today’s hybrid cloud and enterprise administrators, DevOps practitioners and performance tuning engineers.

Certification – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Linux Performance Tuning exam (EX442)

Prerequisite 

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or equivalent Red Hat Enterprise Linux knowledge and experience.An RHCE is obtained by passing the EX200 RHCSA exam on RHEL 7 or 8, and passing the EX300 RHEL 7 exam or the EX294 RHEL 8 exam to complete the certification.
