DO280 – OpenShift v3.9 (Updated)

Red Hat OpenShift Administration I (DO280) for OpenShift v3.9

Introduction

OpenShift Admin I provides the essential skills required to deploy and support an OpenShift Cluster. This is the flagship course in the OpenShift curriculum, ranking in the top 10 in revenue of all Red Hat courses and featuring an NPS over 60.

Customer satisfaction is highest when students first complete the Introduction to Containers, Kubernetes and OpenShift course (DO180). An updated five-day “combo course” of DO180 and DO280, titled Containers, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift Administration I (DO285), is also available now.

This update focuses on bringing the course from Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 3.5 to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 3.9 and fixing Jira defects. The primary change in this course is the use of the advanced installation method instead that is now accepted best practice in the field.

This entry into the OpenShift administration learning path is a required starting point for anyone looking to build, configure, and roll out developer-ready OpenShift clusters. Deploying platforms like OpenShift is key to a DevOps organization to support digital transformation. Today, digital transformation is a market requirement. Digitally mature companies are 8 times more likely to gain market share over less mature competitors, according to the Red Hat digital transformation survey. Red Hat OpenShift unites developers and IT operations on a 100% open source, comprehensive, and flexible platform for teams to build, deploy, and scale applications with containers and Kubernetes, on any cloud.
