Trainer’s Training Hands-on Workshop

It is a fact that soon we will have to accept that LMS is not optional anymore, but integral to our profession. Just as we have been updating ourselves in our subject matters of teaching we are constrained to inevitably update ourselves in the technology of teaching as well. As teachers, we have to learn how to use the LMS to design courses by seamlessly integrating multimedia contents and specifying essential teaching tools from the digital portfolios. LMS being a record of learners’ performances, we will have to use it for evaluation too.

KSHEC is forced to jumpstart a trainer’s training hands-on workshop in the basics of Moodle-based LMS administration and setting up a self-contained learning module that is developed in line with the Outcome-Based Pedagogical approach. The workshop is meant for those teachers, who are ready to acquire the knowledge base and skills for themselves as well as for initiating their colleagues. It is to equip yourself and help others to be comfortable with the digital technology-enhanced teaching and facilitation of self-directed learning.
