Meet Our Student- Sachin Sebastian…
Sachin Sebastian was a Mechanical Engineering Graduate in 2017. After the completion of his graduation, he worked in a firm in mechanical platforms for nearly 1 year.
However, being a mechanical engineer it was not very easy for him to find a high-paying job and career growth. He then concentrated on competitive exams for another one and a half years. But Sachin could not succeed in getting those examinations.
Sachin later analyzed that “It is no secret that in today’s market, a degree is not enough. One needs to show that they have the passion to become a go-getter. A successful person is also expected to be good at something apart from studies”.
Sachin was wondering how he can craft his own successful career path as a mechanical engineer, based on this he started to do some research on the career opportunities and the demanding technology.
At the end of his research, he came to know that the most successful mechanical engineers took different paths to achieve success in their careers. Through social media, he heard about the IPSR training program which was also giving career opportunities to students. This awareness guided him to approach IPSR.
With the proper guidance of our career counselors, he chose the Linux Training Program in IPSR. He had also heard good reviews about the red hat certification program, and hence opted for the same.
Sachin’s desire was to gain knowledge in AWS and also he was looking to enhance his technical knowledge, competitive skills, and aptitude skills, hence he joined the IPSR IT Finishing School Program.
As it turned out, Sachin’s internship proved to be nourishing and confidence-building. Initially, he was not enough confident in securing a placement. The Communication Classes and Aptitude Classes in the training session helped him to get a job at MNC. Sachin not only improved his communication skills but also gained knowledge on Aptitude skills, it became very useful for him to clear the Interviews.
He found the IPSR IT Finishing School Program to be good, he said that the training module, content, and activities conducted during the training sessions were very interesting. The training has helped him to crack the Interview. The instructors were vibrant, knowledgeable, and exciting to learn, which greatly assisted him in his overall success. Trainers and experts in IPSR were supportive and very approachable in teaching and always ready to clear the doubts.
Being from a mechanical background he also needs to have Red Hat Linux Certification. Within a short span of time, he has also achieved the RHCE Certification and this helped him to get shortlisted in companies without much effort. He was confident that if he achieved red hat certification he would definitely gain knowledge and get a job by the end of the training. And now he has been selected as L1 Server Engineer in HashRoot and is hoping to have a great future with the company.
In the IT industry, it doesn’t matter if you are from an IT background or Non-IT background. The only thing that matters is the right attitude and determination tp learn new skills ? Just learn the IT roles and new technology and grow
