Student Success Story: Arya Mohan A — From Associate to Linux System Engineer

Arya Mohan A, a 28-year-old BTech graduate from Indira Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (2017), began her career as an Associate at Accenture. Looking to advance her skills in Linux system administration, she enrolled in the RHCE Track at IPSR, where she gained hands-on expertise and industry-relevant knowledge. Thanks to the training at IPSR, she has successfully transitioned into her current role as a System Engineer at V I Point Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Kochi, continuing to build her expertise in Linux and setting her sights on a future in DevOps

The Turning Point: Choosing to Upskill

After starting her career as an Associate at Accenture, Arya realised the importance of having strong, industry-relevant skills in Linux system administration to grow in the IT infrastructure domain. “The most valuable skills for me were system administration, user and group management, SELinux and firewall configuration, LVM and storage management, and especially automation using Ansible.”

“The study materials and guidance helped me set up my own practice environment, which allowed me to improve my hands-on skills independently.”

From Certification to Career Growth

After completing the RHCE training and earning her RHCSA certification, Arya secured a position as System Engineer at V I Point Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Kochi, joining in June 2025.

The RHCE training proved highly relevant in her new role, helping her effectively monitor system performance and manage Linux services.

The Road Ahead: DevOps Dreams

“I plan to build my career in Linux system administration and move into DevOps roles. I want to use the skills from the RHCE training to work on automation and cloud infrastructure.”
