Instagram Launches Automated Captions For Feed Videos From March 2022

Instagram has introduced a new feature of auto-generated captions for video on its app from 2 March 2022. Instagram says that this addition of captions will make it more accessible for users who are hard of hearing and deaf users. This feature will also be helpful for people who would prefer to watch videos without sound. Currently, this video feature is available in 17 languages, but there are plans to expand it to more languages and countries. 1. Create a new Instagram post
2. Select a video from your gallery.
3. Apply filter and trim if necessary, select next.
4. Tap advanced settings.
5. Enable show captions.

1. Tap to more icons (three vertical dots)
2. Tap edit.
3. Select remove captions.
4. You will see a message for removing captions. Once you remove the caption, you cannot add them again.
