Twitter’s Planning Guide 2021

Twitter is a great social platform that is used over 145 million active users per day. It’s a good platform to build your brand and drive your customers and finally to make them your fan.  We should approach social media with a plan of action.  Planning is very much important in a business to make sure we are communicating with the target customers. 

This Year twitter came up with a new guide for better Social Media Planning.

Normally, Twitter publishes a month-by-month listing of key events and dates for your planning each year, but with the COVID-19 pandemic tanking so many events, and leaving many more in an unpredictable state, this time around, Twitter has opted for an overall strategic guide, which includes prompts, insights, tips and templates to map out your tweet approach.

The 108-page guide includes pointers on how to find your brand’s tweet voice, including worksheets to fill out:

It also includes tips on key functions and tools to try to boost your tweet presence:

Twitter’s also included monthly worksheets, so you can enter in objectives and goals for each month:

And while Twitter hasn’t provided a listing of events on each day, it has provided monthly calendar listings, with some pointers as to the key events in each.

This feature by Twitter will help you out to be consistent and to make a stronger relationship with the customers with your social presence. Twitter has something called a major events calendar which covers most of the major events and key dates to remember along with the helpful notes to focus on. There will be some buzzworthy dates you have to plan something. Twitter help to tying them into your strategy. The calendar lists each and every type of date and event with a color code. The events are categorized by color codes, with special colors for special categories. Like if entertainment, conferences, and holidays are different categories available, they all will be categorized with separate color codes. This is very helpful in the cases of small events that you are not conscious of and have significant market value to your business. 

 This is quite handy and a good resource that keeps you up to date on the latest marketing opportunities and efforts. Any social media should be approached with a plan of action, there is no difference when it comes to Twitter also. Understanding how the platforms work is the key to success. To make your brand success you should always audit your account and should be aware of your account tweets, engagement, and followers. Planning content always takes time but later saves your effort and stress. You should be aware of how often you want to post and the best time to post.
