Seminar on DevOps and Cloud reminded the professionals to explore the possibilities in open source.

When any technology emerges as a trendsetter in a competitive world, there is always a sense of alienation. Is this technology too specific for general use? Is this the best of its category? What possibilities and opportunities that would arise out of this technology? Is the deployment of technology a sustainable one? Likewise there are many such questions that would linger in the minds of an entrepreneurs and technocrats.

One day seminar and workshop on ‘Emerging Technologies in opensource Cloud and DevOps’ at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirapally a marvel educational complex of the Catholic Dioceses of Kanjirapally was a perfect answer to all such queries of the professionals on the twin trendsetting technologies – Cloud and DevOps.

Mr. Amal Mathai the technical consultant with Red Hat and Mr. Szen John, Cooperate trainer with IPSR had led the sessions. The excitement of the participants were of no bounds as these resource persons presented on multifarious tools of DevOps – Ansible, Puppet etc. and gave each participant an hands-on experience to deploy an open source platform of their own.

However, the joint venture of RedHat and IPSR Solutions coupled with the scenic hospitality of AJCET in the rich and nurturing ambiance of stylish plantation and ethnic architecture of Kanjirapally was an awesome experience to the participants.

Most of the participant left with a synergic feel to explore more possibilities in open sources and was highly responsive in the social media sharing many experiences and realizations like “The session was not only excellent but provided us with propounding interest and eagerness In IT” ; ….”Many companies like amazon and many other multinational companies have already adopted DevOps”…” Kerala Technical University have made DevOps as a part of the curriculum” and many more…
