Run Kochi Run – Run at Kochi towards your Red Hat Certified Architect Certification – JBoss training released at IPSR

Exhausted after a marathon run. Literally!
What a coincidence when it happens on the day the Kochi International Half Marathon was held – December 7!

To give an insight, the Run Kochi Run International Half Marathon is a 21-km course that was flagged off at quarter past 6 that morning from Marine Drive, a picturesque promenade facing the backwaters, located very close to the IPSR International Center. It proceeded along Fort Kochi, before ending at the famous Maharaja’s College ground located at the M.G Road (Mahatma Gandhi Road named after the Father of our Nation).

So, all we could witness in the M.G Road, the main arterial commercial high street of Kochi, was an overwhelming number of more than 25000 marathon participants. This led to a huge vehicle traffic in the morning hours not letting our cab go past the M.G Road to collect our clients on board, from their respective hotels. Chaos!

We had no other go than to park the car and take a stroll. Well, there wouldn’t be a better day if we don’t. The stroll however turned out to be a micro marathon let us call it 🙂

I wasn’t alone. I was joined by two of our wonderful associations, our friends Mr. Mohamed Ayman from the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Mr. Rossario Chella from the Italian Republic. We walked nearly 2 km though not part of the International marathon, but possibly a warming up for a marathon towards being a Red Hat Certified Architect.🙂 Oh Yes, let us understand that the RHCA is definitely a run.

Today, Mr. Ayman and Mr. Chella are participants of our first Red Hat JBoss Administration (JB248) training batch.

Mr. Ayman, Systems Engineer in Egypt – been with us since November 24, is on his RHCA track that extends until the end of this month. Looking at his passion towards learning, we are confident that the new year 2015 will throw some glorious results that will shape better his future. Good Luck!

Mr. Chella who has over 12 years of experience, works as a Middleware Consultant in South Africa. He traveled across to attend Red Hat Enterprise Clustering and Storage Management (RH436), Red Hat JBoss Administration(JB248), Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization(RH318) and a couple of other examinations EX442(Red Hat Performance Tuning) and EX413(Red Hat Server Hardening). Passing all 5 will earn him the RHCA. Best Wishes!

When we reached the training center, we were excited to be treated with tender coconut drink – the best natural choice for rehydration, to nourish up a refreshing start to the day. A must-drink when in Kerala.

Off they go to resume JBoss training along with Mr. Sanju Raj, the Master Instructor!

Salam Ayman!

Ciao Chella!

You’re welcome!
