Facebook is alerting Page owners to a coming update which will see the removal of the ‘Our Story’ section from your Page presentation options.

We are familiar with the ‘Our Story’ feature of Facebook. This feature gives you chances to show off what makes your business unique and special. Using this part wisely will help you to give the insight to show who you are and what you are all about. This page will help you to index in google and thereby will help you to drive traffic to your page and business. You can add a picture of dimension 1200 x 445 pixels here. Just like any story you can add what problem in the universe you are dealing with and your readers can easily relate to it. This feature is a show-off about how the company or business is better. If a new customer enters into your business, they will look for a reason for what is you are better about before purchasing. This section can include your stories apart from your competition, you can mention who you are, and also can mention your success stories with Call to actions like website links, directions, and contact details, etc.

The Page Story section was added back in 2017 as a means to help brands provide more background on their business ‘why’, in order to better connect with Page visitors.

The section currently appears as a secondary information panel within the ‘About’ section on your Page, which does look a little cluttered.

As per the new updates of facebook the ‘Our Story’ feature of Facebook pages about section will be removed soon and instead the users can shift their information in another section called ‘Additional information’. 

You can add your additional information by:

• Go to the settings option on the page.
• Click on ‘page info’.
• Edit your additional information field with your company pieces of information.

This means the page outline is changing for the better because most of the admins in the pages are not bothered about the ‘About’ section and the ‘Our Story’ section. They usually copy the same for both. This is an extra thing or unnecessary thing when it comes to customers they will not read your complete story, they only look for the quality and reasons to be your customer.

 This section will appear as a piece of secondary information in the pages from now. The section that once was disorganized and cluttered is going to be more appealing from now by moving it to the secondary section. This will make the followers to communication intact. In fact, it is probably going to give more meaning and impact to the appearance of the main page.
