Is it necessary for me to upgrade from RHEL 4.0 to RHEL 6.0?
RHCEs on RHEL 4.0, whose certification become non-current from Jan 10, 2011. So you need to upgrade from RHEL 4 to RHEL 5. The upgradation to RHEL 5 is possible only upto
Feb 25, 2011, after which RHEL 5 will not be available and you will have to upgrade directly to RHEL 6. Now upgradation from
RHEL 4 to RHEL 5 at just Rs.7,500/-
How can I upgrade my RHCE under RHEL 4.0 to RHEL 6.0?
There are two ways to upgrade from RHEL 4 to RHEL 6
At first upgrade from RHEL 4 to RHEL 5, then upgrade from RHEL 5 to RHEL 6.
Or you can directly upgrade from RHEL 4 to RHEL 6. But there is chance of risk and fees will be more.
Is there any special offer to upgrade from RHEL 4.0 to RHEL 6.0?Total cost is currently reduced to just
Rs.12,500/- (RHEL 4 to RHEL 5) + (RHEL 5 to RHEL 6) = Rs.7,500/- + Rs.5,000/-

RHCSA and RHCE on RHEL 6.

RHEL 5 would be current, till release of RHEL 7.0. So it's not essential to upgrade it right now.
But, if you had registered and certified as
RHCE between Dec 1, 2010 & Feb 28, 2011, you may avail a special offer. If you meet the above criteria, you may
upgrade to RHCE in RHEL 6 at just Rs.2,500/- for each exam, i.e. a total of
Rs. 5,000/- only. This offer is valid only through
Mar 01, 2011 to Mar 31, 2011. After that you need to pay full fee.
