Red Hat Certified Security Specialist

Red Hat has introduced its Security Certification, RHCSS. Like all the prevailing Red Hat certifications, this too would be a performance based certification program. The modules for the program are built on the security skills covered in the RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) program and hence RHCE would be a prerequisite.

The modules for the program comprise of:

RH423 Enterprise Directory Services and Authentication
RHS429 SELinux Policy Administration

My experience with IPSR during my course was nothing but great.
I found the staff extremely humble and helpful. Faculty and administration made sure that student is comfortable and gains knowledge and gets every worth of money he/she is spending for that training/course. The faculty went page by page and word by word and cleared every doubt during course.
The labs were open for practice not only till late evenings but also during holidays and even managed to open them during strikes for the sake of student’s exam practice. I would like to thank staff for going extra mile for the sake of students during general strike. They not only opened the labs for practice but helped us find food as all restaurants were closed.

The training for 333 module , which I had attended was very useful. The only thing I want to convey is, we need more time for labs, though I can understand that you cannot extend the course duration (which is 4 days now). I am sure IPSR has helped me a lot in my Linux career.

RHCSS IPSR faculty's teaching is very very good. He explains everything very clearly and gives good support. The infrastructure is good. Accommodation arranged was also very good. First I should thank my trainer Mr. Rejy for giving me such a wonderful training, with all clear explanation of concepts and guidance to Lab are EXCELLENT . The staffs are very friendly , in a way that I forgot that I was away from my Hometown.

My inspiration to take RHCSS at IPSR was my previous experience and the training provided by you during my RHCE days. One thing I felt difficult was the duration of the course , which being short is not sufficient to understand each module we are taught, even though I hope it will be overcomed in the extra practice timings that you have agreed to provide . One thing I like to share is about the faculties in IPSR. I learn three modules from my faculty. Faculties are really nice. They all are well experienced in teaching redhat course. They know each and every error, that made me surprise!!!
