Educational Qualification:
BE or BS in Computer Science, MCA or Diploma with 4+ years of experience

Mandatory skills:
Shell scripting, strong background on UNIX system administration processes, filesystems, , UNIX accounts.
acls. logs, backup & maintenance, job control, makefiles, system software/network troubleshooting & debugging, documentation tools.
Significant troubleshooting skills/experience (TCP/IP, DNS, level 4 to level 7 Load balancing)

Preferred Skills :
Use of open-source tools and technologies, worked on Linux or FreeBSD, package management, network and application monitoring tools, knowledge of scalability issues involving huge server farms, performance & high-availability issues, development/programming using Perl, regex, sed, java/j2ee
Knowledge of database administration.
